MEE to launch new round of inspection in 2019

It's reported that Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) plans to launch a new round of central environmental inspection in 2019, including relevant authorities of the State Council and central enterprises with significant environmental targets.
The new round of inspection will focus on solving outstanding ecological environment issues, improving ecological environment quality and promoting high-quality economic development.
As scheduled, the second round of central environmental inspection starting from 2019 will last three years. The acceptance check will be carried out in the fourth year.
