Malaysia announces preliminary AD determination on galvanized iron from China

On November 8, 2018, the Ministry of International Trade & Industry of Malaysia (MITI) announced its preliminary determination on the anti-dumping duty (AD) investigation concerning imports of galvanized iron from China and Vietnam, and decided to levy provisional AD ranging from -3.33% to 16.13% on above products. This measure will be effective for not more than 120 days from November 8, 2018.
On July 25, 2018, the MITI conducted AD investigation on galvanized iron originating in or imported from China and Vietnam in response to the application lodged by Malaysian producers on June 26, 2018.
