Industrial furnaces pollution abatement action carried out in Shanxi

According to the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shanxi Province, specified pollution abatement action was carried out on all the industrial furnaces in the province to make further promotion of air quality, and the furnaces are able to run at full capacity at limited time.
The government established a management list with details for such key industries as steel, nonferrous metal, construction material, coking and chemical. From 1 November, any industrial furnace not yet included in the list shall be incorporated into the peak-shifting production plan and suspend production once discovered.
