Three parties including Jinchuan Group jointly develop Summer Wood Ni-Co deposit

On November 10th, Huanghe Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. ("Huanghe"), Jinchuan Group ("Jinchuan"), and Qinghai Geology and Minerals Bureau ("the Bureau") signed a cooperation agreement with each other to build a joint venture called Qinghai Huanghe Mining Co., Ltd. ("the JV") with the aim of jointly developing Summer Wood Ni-Co deposit ("the Deposit").
In 2010, the Bureau first discovered the Deposit at the southern edge of Qaidam Basin, which is the second largest nickel and cobalt deposit in China. On March 27, 2013, Qinghai government awarded the rights to develop the nickel and cobalt mineral resources at the Deposit to Huanghe.
