1. Market Highlights
In October, mainstream prices for Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min continued to drop slowly. In the first half of October, as producers faced little inventory pressure after the National Day holiday, they were inactive in selling and mainstream prices were basically stable. However, in view of continuously sparse enquiries and deals on the spot market, producers lowered quotations to stimulate sales in the second half of October, but little improvement was seen in transactions. In late October, the market still saw sluggish transactions.
