Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium said in recent research that because the mainstream vanadium extraction process is steel slag vanadium extraction, the capacity for vanadium slag is relatively stable without the addition of blast furnace capacity. Other vanadium extraction processes are not expected to increase the capacity a lot in a short time. In addition, vanadium has better stability than niobium. According to the market feedback of vanadium and niobium, there are some limitations in substituting vanadium for niobium in steel production.
