    1. Market Highlights

Chinese market: Prices for antimony ingot went up fast in early September, followed by prices for antimony trioxide. However, prices for these two materials tended to stabilize during mid-to-late September when end customers were inactive in making purchases.

Overseas market: Affected by higher prices in Chinese market as well as the crackdown on smuggling by sea, export prices for antimony ingot and antimony trioxide went up to varying degree. However, as overseas customers had not much interest in transactions, export price for the two materials showed sign of decreasing in late September and some suppliers lowered export quotation in order to recoup funds.
