Baotou Steel and Taiyuan Heavy Industry sign contract to upgrade 100mm seamless tube production line

On September 30, the signing ceremony of the general contract of the upgrade and renovation project of the hot rolled 100mm seamless tube production line of Baotou Iron & Steel Co., Ltd was held in Baogang Hotel.
It is reported that the purpose of the cooperation between the two sides is to upgrade the 100mm hot rolled seamless pipe production line of Baotou Iron & Steel to a small-bore fine continuous rolling line mainly including varieties of steel like oil pipes, high pot pipes, pipeline pipes, etc. It will further stimulate the demand of small-diameter pipeline in China and occupy the market with high-end products. Taiyuan Heavy Industry will then provide systematic solutions to Baotou Iron & Steel, and will make 100mm hot rolled seamless pipe production line the production line of the latter become the sample of domestic small-diameter continuous rolling mill units.
