Chinese import tantalum and niobium concentrate market remained inactive in September. Most smelters continued to hold back from making purchases while traders had to lower their offers further to entice buyers. End users were in no hurry to rebuild stocks. As a result, the prices for downstream tantalum and niobium products showed downtrend.
