Tangshan to carry out staggering peak-off production

It's learnt that Tangshan will carry out differentiated staggering peak-off production in iron & steel, building materials, coking, foundry, active ingredient manufacturing industries, enterprises clusters and construction sites based on pollution emission performance appraisal results from 1 October, 2018 to 31 March, 2019 to ensure the air quality to be essentially improved in autumn and winter.
In order to avoid handling different situations in the same way, Tangshan municipal government will conduct performance appraisal strictly according to comments on differentiated staggering peak-off production in order to implement in an accurate manner and supervise in an scientific manner. Benchmarking enterprises of environmental protection that perform much better in pollution emission than peer companies could be free from production restriction and receive certain service supports. For enterprises serving people's livelihood, the basic demand livelihood demand should be guaranteed. Enterprises and restricted industries failing to meet requirements of pollution discharge and achieve tasks of 2018-2019 air pollution control should be required to halt production for rectification. Staggering peak-off production record, task list, action list and responsibility list should be set up.
