HBIS Group and Chongqing University co-establish Southwest Research Institute

HBIS Group and Chongqing University signed the strategic cooperation agreement focusing on the establishment of Southwest Research Institute of HBIS Group and Chongqing University in order to thoroughly implement the national innovation-driven development strategy and promote the sustainable development and industrial transformation and upgrading of China's steel industry.
On September 25, the signing ceremony was held in Chongqing University. According to the agreement and the articles, HBIS Group and Chongqing University will give a full play to their advantages and carry out cooperation in co-construction of research institutes, talent cultivation, establishment of scholarship (teaching) funds and transformation of scientific research achievements and so on. The Southwest Research Institute will focus on the market development in the southwest and Yangtze River economic belt, the comprehensive utilization of steel, vanadium and titanium new materials and resources and application researches of the self-owned automobile metal materials, steel structure technology and industrialization and other fields.
