Shanxi to grant pollutant emission permits in six industries

In the second half of 2018, Shanxi Province will approve and issue pollutant emission permits in six industries, including ceramic, slaughtering and meat processing, starch, refined oil products manufacturing, common non-ferrous metal smelting and iron & steel (steelmaking, ironmaking and steel rolling). All permits for enterprises in ceramic, slaughtering and meat processing, starch, refined oil products manufacturing, common non-ferrous metal smelting industries shall be granted before late November and those for iron & steel enterprises shall be granted before late October.
