Tangshan to carry out staggering peak production in autumn and winter

On 19 September, Tangshan municipal government formally released the notice on key industry autumn and winter differentiated staggering peak production performance appraisal comments, effective from 1 October, 2018 to 31 March, 2019. As required by the program, companies should carry out differentiated staggering peak production based on levels granted by adhering to the principles of focusing on quality, implementing separately, acting according to circumstance, carrying out staggering peak production and contingency plan of heavy pollution.
The evaluation index consists of general ones and differentiated ones. The main differentiated indexes of iron & steel industry are emission standards, external transportation structure and additional value of products. Iron & steel companies are classified into four categories, including those don't need to carry out staggering peak production in autumn and winter, those need to carry out staggering peak production of 30% in autumn and winter (according to production capacity of blast furnaces), those need to carry out staggering peak production of 50% in autumn and winter and those need to carry out staggering peak production of 70% in autumn and winter with sintering process halting production.
