1. Market Highlights
In August, the international vanadium market saw flat demand with stable prices temporarily. In China, the raw material vanadium pentoxide producers held the prices stable together, and prices for vanadium pentoxide flake were under adjustment. Some ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy producers have stopped the production, and other producers who still kept producing held prices firm and hold back from selling. Therefore, prices for ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy kept firm. It is very difficult to purchase the raw material vanadium pentoxide due to the tight supply, so a new round of price rise are expected to emerge in late August.
