Anyang to integrate 11 steel companies as four by 2020

Henan Anyang government issued suggestions on four industries including fine steel and deep-processing. According to the suggestions, by 2020, the city shall finish steel companies' integration, capacity replacement and environmental protection transformation. Proportion of fine steel shall be more than 30%, numbers of companies should be integrated to four and the business income aim is about RMB150 billion. By 2025, steel facilities shall be upgraded to over 1,200 square meters for blast furnaces, 120t and 100t for steelmaking furnaces and electric furnaces. Proportion of fine steel shall be more than 50 and the business income aim is RMB200 billion.
