The Emission Standard for Antimony Pollutants in Textile Dyeing Industrial Wastewater formulated by Jiangsu province came into force on Sep 1.
The antimony pollutants are mainly derived from the wastewater discharged from the textile dyeing industry, especially from chemical fiber printing and dyeing enterprises. Considering that Jiangsu is a major textile dyeing province, especially along the Taihu Lake basin, so Jiangsu Province established local standards that are stricter than national standards . The total antimony emission limit of wastewater in general textile dyeing enterprises along Taihu Lake basin is 0.08mg/L; for areas with special environmental protection measures that are prone to serious water pollution problems, 0.05mg/L.
