Baosteel Chemical and Fangda Carbon jointly construct graphite electrode project

On August 20, Baosteel Chemical Co., Ltd. under China Baowu Group and Fangda Carbon New Material Technology Co., Ltd. under Fangda Group successfully held the signing and foundation laying ceremony for 100,000t of ultra-high power graphite electrode project in Lanzhou Province.
It is reported that 2.7 billion yuan will be invested in the construction of 100,000t of ultra-high power graphite electrode project in Jiatan Village, Pingan Town, Honggu District, Lanzhou City, which will be implemented in two phases. At present, Shanghai Baosteel Chemical Co., Ltd. and Fangda Carbon New Material Technology Co., Ltd. jointly set up Baofang Carbon Material Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out the construction of the project. The registered capital of the joint venture company is 1.3 billion yuan, among which Baosteel Chemical invested 663 million yuan in cash and holds 51% shares.
