Sinosteel XTMMC starts construction of all-round upgrading project

On August 16th, Sinosteel Xingtai Machinery & Mill Roll Co., Ltd. ("Sinosteel XTMMC") held the commencement ceremony about the removal and all-round upgrading construction project ("the Project") in Xingtai, Hebei.
It is learnt that Sinosteel XTMMC signed the removal and upgrading cooperating framework agreement on September 20th, 2017. The Project is a key engineering project of Hebei and the largest removal project of Xingtai. Located in the economic development zone, the Project covers a total area of over 1 million square meters and a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan. The Project is divided into two phases and the overall engineering design will finish in 2021. Phase one of the Project is to build the world's first digital, intelligent and intelligent rolling mill and the national cloud service platform for coking equipment with an annual designed output of 204,000t. It is expected that the annual sales revenue would be about 8-10 billion yuan and profits and taxes of more than 1.5 billion yuan. Phase two will build production lines of high-end special corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and high-temperature forgings. After the completion of the production lines, the sales revenue will be about 15 billion yuan, and the profits and taxes will be more than 2 billion yuan.
