China's first intelligent all-solid Li-ion battery production line goes into operation

On August 9, the first phase project of domestic intelligent all-solid lithium-ion battery production line invested by Henan Pingmei Guoneng Lithium Battery Co., Ltd. went into operation in the power battery industrial park, located in Fengquan district, Xinxiang of Henan. With a total investment of RMB5 billion, the project will form the production capacity of high-safety and high-specific power lithium ion batteries of 10GWh.
According to the introduction, the project is the first intelligent advanced lithium-ion battery and system integration production project in China jointly implemented by the Xinxiang Municipal Government, China Pingmei Shenma Group, the Battery Research Institute of Henan (Xinxiang) and Beijing National Battery Technology Co., Ltd. The project is divided into three phases, of which the first phase with an investment of RMB500 million, will form an annual production capacity of 1GWh of pouch cell battery after going into operation and will generate an annual sales revenue of RMB1.8 billion and profit taxes of RMB360 million. When the project is completed, the annual sales revenue is expected to be RMB30 billion, and the profit taxes would reach RMB5 billion.
