After starting pilot production early this year, Shaanxi Wuzhou Mining Co., Ltd. put vacuum vananum reactor into operation, realized purification of electron beam smelting furnace and reached design capacity in refining process and processing process. Based on stable operation of all processes, the company's 100t high-purity vanadium metal project could be put into mass production. Currently, with completion and operation of the high-purity vanadium metal production line, the project has entered mass production phase from equipment technical tackling phase.
By tackling technical problems, Shaanxi Wuzhou Mining Co., Ltd., a subordinate of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Holdings Group Limited Liability Company, invests RMB85.848 million in construction of vananum workshop, refining workshop and forging and rolling workshop, introduction of more than 30 global-leading ingot casting, bar production and testing equipment of vanadium metal and construction of a complete high-purity vanadium metal production line, which break up monopoly of advanced nations, fill the gap of high-purity vanadium metal production in China and help China get rid of dependence on import.
