According to the information on the press conference on July 24th, MIIT will adjust and optimize the distribution of industries in key regions, promote the complete closure, transformation and development of steel enterprises in key regions such as Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, gradually optimize the distribution of China's iron and steel capacity, and guide and urge key industries in key regions to arrange production by avoiding the peak hour in the heating season. In addition, MIIT will strictly control new capacity of steel, coking, primary aluminum, casting and cement in key areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas, the Yangtze river delta and the Fen-Wei plain, and will never allow new projects to be built in violation of laws and regulations.
