Liuzhou Iron and Steel Zhongjin Stainless Steel Project in construction

The commencement ceremony of Liuzhou Iron and Steel Zhongjin Stainless Steel Processing Project (Phase I) was held in Yulin Longtan industrial park on July 18th.
Liuzhou Iron and Steel formally started to take over the project of Zhongjin Metal in May 2018. It's the key project for Liuzhou Iron and Steel to design its production base which represents an annual capacity of 5.5 million tons of stainless steel in Yulin Longtan industrial park.
With a planned area of about 373,333 square meters, the first phase of the project will be invested RMB1.56 billion in total. It will release the annual capacity of hot rolling products to 1.2 million tons and will mainly produce 200 series of stainless steel.
Currently, Zhongjin Metal owns annual capacities of 500,000t of ferronickel, 1.2 million tons of steel, 1.2 million tons of hot rolling products and 300,000t of coal rolling products.
