40 million tons of steel capacity to retreat from Hebei

According to the de-capacity and structure change meeting in Hebei, the province would continue to promote de-capacity in the coming three years and eliminate capacities of 40 million tons of steel, 30 million tons of coal, 23 million weight cases of plate glass, 5 million tons of cement, 10 million tons of coke, 1.5 million kilowatts of thermal power. In 2018, the province would cut capacities of 12 million tons of steel, 12.17 million tons of coal, 8 million weight cases of plate glass, 3 million tons of cement, 5 million tons of coke and 0.5 million kilowatts of thermal power by late November.
