Recently, Cao Zhiqiang, deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group, suggested that the iron ore trade pricing mechanism should be optimized to take advantage of the internationalization of China's iron ore futures, continuously increasing the international influence and representation of iron ore futures prices, promoting China's iron ore futures as a price-setting benchmark for domestic and foreign industrial customers, and promoting the steady development of the steel industry. It is reported that DCE has publicly solicited opinions on the rules of internationalization from the market. The internationalization plan and technical system upgrade have basically been completed, and preparations of market participants have been carried out in an orderly manner.
