Increased nonferrous metal in Shandong records 120,100t in 2017

It is learnt from Shandong Geology and Minerals Bureau that Shandong made significant progress in geological survey in 2017 with 1,600 hydrogeology engineering projects and 110 geological prospecting projects completed, nine deposits found and 16 prospects increased. The increased minerals included 199.98t of gold, 289 million tons of iron, 120,100t of nonferrous metal, 3.8723 million karat of diamond, 338 million tons of coal, 200 million tons of diatomite, 54,000t of graphite, 171,000t of rare earth and 23,600t of limestone.
