Dowstone: Lepidolite comprehensive utilization project of strong market competitiveness

Dowstone held the on-line road show for convertible bonds issuing on the afternoon of December 27th. According to Rong Jihua, the general manager and board director of the company, the lepidolite comprehensive utilization project develops new ways to make use of lithium resources and is of strong competiveness in the market; they will try to finish the capacity of 10,000tpy lithium carbonate as soon as possible to realize the planned target of the project.
Rong Jihua said, "Aafter going into production, the lepidolite comprehensive development and utilization project, which will use lepidoliet as raw material to manufacture high-end lithium carbonate, can produce 8,500t of battery grade lithium carbonate and 1,500t of industrial grade lithium carbonate per year. It will fill up the supply gap of high-end lithium products in the market and meet development requirements of upgrading lithium battery industry and strengthening the market competiveness of China. In addition, it will raise the production capacity of high-end lithium carbonate in China and meet the strong demand in the market."
It's reported that Dowstone issues covertable bonds of RMB480 million this time and will put all raised funds to the comprehensive development and utilization of lepidolite.
