Jiangsu Guotai plans to carry out 40,000tpy-capacity lithium battery solution project in Poland

Recently, Jiangsu Guotai International Group ("Guotai") announced that it planned to build lithium battery solution project ("the Project") with a capacity of 40,000tpy in Poland. Specifically, the project has a total investment of RMB300 million including RMB105 million of infrastructure investment, RMB80 million of equipment investment, RMB6.6 million of land cost and RMB108.4 million of initial working capital and a construction period of about 30 months.
Jiangsu Ruitai New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., Guotai's wholly-owned subsidiary, and Zhangjiagang Guotai Huarong Chemical New Material Co., Ltd., Guotai's holding subsidiary, will contribute 50% of the investment respectively to set up a subsidiary in the Republic of Poland named Guotai Huarong (Poland) Co., Ltd. (tentative name) which will be responsible for carrying out the Project in Poland.
