Lake Lithium plans to expand lithium carbonate production

According to the report from Keda Clean Energy on the evening of December 26th, it holds 43.58% shares and 48.58% of rights of vote of Lake Lithium. Lake Lithium conducted the technology improvement engineering of 10,000tpy lithium carbonate in March 2017, but it still needs some time to realize mass production of battery grade products. Lake Lithium had produced 7,759t of lithium carbonate by December 25th, 2017, planning to expand the production capacity of battery grade lithium carbonate by 20,000tpy based on current devices which represent an annual capacity of 10,000t of lithium carbonate. The production scale of devices of Lake Lithium can produce 30,000t of lithium carbonate per year after the production expansion with the total investment of RMB3.13232 billion.
