NDRC: To prepare well for report and inspection of carbon emission of 2016 and 2017

National Development and Reform Commission informed that annual carbon emission report for 2016 and 2017 and emission monitoring plan should be well prepared. According to the information, the report and plan covers key emission industries including petrochemical, chemical engineering, building materials, iron and steel, nonferrous metals, papermaking, electricity and aviation industries and companies or other economic organizations whose greenhouse gas emissions exceeded 26,000t carbon dioxide equivalence (about consumption of 10,000t of standard coal) in any year during 2013 to 2017. The specific tasks include checking and report of greenhouse gas emission, making plan, and inspection, recheck and submission.
