Chile makes final anti-dumping arbitration on China-origin steel bars

On November 22, 2017, the Ministry of Finance of Chile announced the affirmative final arbitration on China-origin steel bars, deciding to levy 8.2%-22.9% of anti-dumping duties on related products imported from China, excluding steel bars with carbon content above 1% used in production of grinding balls, which will be effective for one year. The HS Code of related product is 72283000 and details on taxation are as follows:
1. 8.2% of ad valorem tax on Xingcheng Special Steel;
2. 9.8% of ad valorem tax on Dongbei Special Steel;
3. 22.9% of ad valorem tax on Baosteel;
4. 22.9% of ad valorem tax on other Chinese companies.
