All cities in Hebei required completing pollutant discharging permit issuance to key industries before late November

Recently, Hebei environmental bureau has noticed that all local cities should complete pollutant discharging permit issuance to 11 key industries including petrochemical, non-ferrous metals, coking, etc. before late November. As for enterprises unqualified in permit issuance or without pollutant discharging permits, relevant information should be timely submitted to environmental law enforcement agencies and those enterprises should be legally forced to suspend production.
It is reported that, in accordance with the requirements of environmental bureau, Hebei is accelerating new pollutant discharging permit issuance to 15 key industries this year. Those industries cover fields of thermal power, paper, steel, cement, plate glass, nonferrous metals, petrochemical, coking, printing and dyeing, pharmaceutical raw materials, fertilizer manufacturing, tanning, electroplating, pesticide, agricultural and sideline products processing, etc. and permits have been successfully granted to industries of thermal power, paper making, iron and steel and cement.
