Liaoning conducts 2017 environmental inspections

Required by “Liaoning Environmental Protection Inspection Scheme (Trial)” and approved by Provincial Party Committee and Government, Liaoning formally conducted environmental inspections on November 20th. Two environmental inspection groups are set up and will perform environmental inspections in Shenyang, Dalian, Anshan and Yingkou.
The provincial environmental inspections will be problem-oriented, mainly focusing on three aspects. First, inspect the progress which Party Committee and governments in these regions mentioned above achieved for the rectification demanded by central environmental protection supervision groups, including implementation situation of feedback rectification measures, and letters and complaints from ordinary people, fully pushing problem rectification and completely solution. Second, check the implementation situation about ecological civilization construction and environmental protection, including water, air & soil pollution prevention, rural environmental management, red line delineation of environmental protection, and other aspects. Third, inspect the implementation situation of environmental protection which requires that Party and government should bear the same responsibility and a pair of responsibilities for one post.
