China Northern Rare Earth Group releases PrNd, lanthanum and cerium quotations for October 2017

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 16 Oct 17 - China Northern Rare Earth (Group) High-tech LLC (“China Northern Rare Earth Group” or “The company") announced their list prices of PrNd oxide, PrNd mischmetal, neodymium oxide, neodymium metal, lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide for October this morning. As we can see from the table above, China Northern Rare Earth Group reduced the prices for PrNd oxide, PrNd mischmetal, neodymium oxide, neodymium metal by over 14% MOM, and prices for lanthanum and cerium products stayed unchanged. According to AM Prices by Asian Metal, currently market prices for PrNd oxide, PrNd mischmetal, neodymium oxide, neodymium metal, lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide stand at RMB430,000-440,000/t (USD65,345-66,864/t) D/P, RMB560,000-570,000/t (USD85,100-86,620/t) 30 days D/A, RMB420,000-430,000/t (USD63,825-65,345/t) D/P, RMB550,000-560,000/t (USD83,580-85,100/t) 30 days D/A, RMB17,000-17,500/t (USD2,583-2,659/t) D/P and RMB17,000-17,500/t (USD2,583-2,659/t) D/P respectively. China Northern Rare Earth Group’s quotations this month were near the market prices, affected by which the price reduction in rare earth market might be eased to some extent.
