Shaanxi Ligeance Mineral Resources Co., Ltd. (000697) stated on irm.p5w.net last Friday that they have about 1.761 million tons of rhenium associated with molybdenum ore, accounting for about 7% of the global reserves of less than 2,500t. In specific, rhenium reserves in Chile, USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Peru account for 52%, 15.6%, 12.4%, 7.6%, 3.8% and 1.8% of the total respectively.
