Vietnam extends anti-dumping review period on imported cold-rolled steel

According to news from Vietnamese media on July 24th, the Competition Management Bureau of Vietnam announced to extend the acceptance date for application to July 31st for reducing or canceling anti-dumping duty on cold-rolled stainless steel imported from China (including Taibei of Taiwan), Indonesia and Malaysia.
According to related laws and regulations of Vietnam, interested parties can require reviewing anti-dumping duty and the review content covers products which are suitable for anti-dumping duty, anti-dumping duty rate, new exporters and others. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam made verdict on September 5th, 2014, to levy anti-dumping duty on cold-rolled stainless steel imported from China (including Taibei of Taiwan), Indonesia and Malaysia; the anti-dumping duty rate on Chinese material increased from 4 . 64% to 25 . 35% . Related department of Vietnam reviewed the case for the first time on April 19th, 2016 . The Competition Management Bureau began to accept second batches of application to make review on February 19th, 2017; the original expiration date was April 15th, 2017, and the review period was from May 1st, 2016, to April 30th, 2017 . During the period, the Competition Management Bureau continuously received applications and requests from enterprises to cancel anti-dumping duty and thus they decided to extend the acceptance date for application to before August 1st.
