Ukrainian iron and steel output dips in H1 of 2017

Ukraine produced 10.277 million tons of steel, 8.728 million tons of rolled steel, 9.404 million tons of pig iron and 5.307 million tons of coke in the first six months of 2017, down by 17% YOY, 20% YOY, 21% YOY and 22% YOY respectively; Ukraine saw 506,000t of steel pipe in H1 of 2017, up by 27% YOY.
Ukraine produced 1.594 million tons of steel, 1.35 million tons of rolled steel, 1.511 million tons of pig iron, 98,400t of steel pipe and 861,000t of coke in June.
Ukraine produced 24.2 million tons of steel, 2.14 million tons of rolled steel, 23.6 million tons of pig iron and 12.723 million tons of coke in 2016, up by 6% YOY, 6% YOY, 8% YOY and 10% YOY respectively; Ukraine saw 849,000t of steel pipe in 2016, down by 1% YOY.
