Pakistan levies 24.04% of final anti-dumping duty on Chinese origin continuous casting billet for 5 years

According to a report of a media in Pakistan on June 23rd, National Tariff Commission of Pakistan ruled last Tuesday that they will levy 24.04% of final anti-dumping duty on Chinese origin continuous casting billet for 5 years from June 22nd, 2017, which won’t bring any influences on the material imported from other countries.
According to the report, Amreli Steels Limited, a steel mill of Pakistan, applied to National Tariff Commission together with other producers of continuous casting billet and noted that there were some dumping problems for Chinese origin steel billet. After investigations, National Tariff Commission verdict that there were dumping problems on the material imported from China, which brought actual damages for local industry, and thus they made the above final verdict.
