Hanrui Cobalt released the semi-annual performance forecast on June 23 at night. It expected to see the net profits belonging to shareholders of listed companies of RMB134.3182-139.6787 million from January 1 to June 30, up by 652%-682% YOY.
According to the announcement, the reasons for the increase of profits are as follows: With the growth of demand for cobalt in the lithium ion battery material and the new energy battery material industries, prices for cobalt products picked up substantially; as the capacity of IPO project was released further, the output and sales volume of cobalt products kept increasing steadily, with the operating costs dropping and profitability of products continuously improving; owing to the continuous technical improvement on copper-cobalt production lines, the output of copper-cobalt products increased, the processing cost decreased, and the profitability of copper-cobalt products got improved.
