Chinese stainless steel prices went down further during this month because of lower raw material costs and decrease in steel mills’ list prices. Customers without urgent need for materials were expecting the price to drop further and refusing to place orders. Having no confidence in the market outlook, traders refused to build large stockpiles. Insiders do not suppose the market will improve in the coming month.
