During March, mainstream prices for Chinese gallium metal 99.99%min continued to keep a downward trend. With plants resuming production, the market saw more and more spot materials, but prices for the material failed to keep firm with an unfavorable market outlook under the condition of supply exceeding demand as demand from end-users was stable and consumers only purchased the material from hand-to-mouth. Transactions in the export market were mainly long-term contracts. Though the market saw inquiries on spot material, actual transactions were sparse.
