Vietnam's steel imports from China fall sharply in Jan

According to Vietnam Customs Directorate preliminary findings in January, Vietnam imported 1.23 million tons of steel products, down by 17% compared with the same period of last year; the imports amounted to US$664 million, increased by 19.7% compared with the same period of last year.
Among them, Vietnam imported 679,000 tons of steel imports from China, fell by 26.4% compared with the same period of last year; the imports amounted to US$340 million, rose by 9.5% compared with the same period of last year.
