Indonesian Qingshan Iron and Steel signs contract on 500,000tpy ferronickel and electric power generation project

On February 23, China First Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. (CFMCC) signed a contract with Indonesian Qingshan Iron and Steel on 500,000tpy of ferronickel and 2×65 megawatt of fire coal mixed gas coal electric power generation project.
Located in Qingshan industrial park, Celebes, Indonesia, the project plans to further construct 1×150 square meters of sintering (including desulfuration), 1×580 cubic meters of ferronickel blast furnace and 2×65 megawatt of fire coal mixed coal gas electric power generation plant. CFMCC will be responsible for the construction of the Blast Furnace Raw Material Stage, the Blast Furnace Stage and the Sintering Stage.
