During December, due to the tight spot supply of antimony ingot and high prices of raw material, domestic prices for the material moved up again. Domestic suppliers were reluctant to sell while raised prices, affected by which, downstream prices for antimony trioxide and ethylene glycol antimony went up in succession. In the international markets, owing to the Christmas holiday, market participants were slow to purchase and prices for antimony ingot and antimony trioxide were relatively stable on the whole. In late December, transactions for antimony ingot and antimony trioxide started to be quiet in the domestic market, while suppliers were generally reluctant to sell at low prices. With the approaching of the Spring Festival, it is anticipated that the domestic market will see no significant changes and prices for antimony ingot and antimony trioxide will remain firm next month.
