Chinese stainless steel prices went up further during this month mainly supported by increase in steel mills’ list prices. However, customers without urgent need for materials could not accept the sharp price increase and just took a cautious attitude towards the market outlook. Since the market sales performance was bad, traders were reluctant to build large stockpiles. Insiders do not expect the price to increase further in the coming month.
