Mainstream prices for Chinese gallium metal kept the strongly upward trend in October. Producers indicated that spot supply for the material was tight due to limited stocks and offers for the material were in disorder slightly. Plants may not recover production in the short period as prices for gallium metal are still lower than production costs but in the long run, prices for the material will be stable after producers’ resumption.
