    Chinese ferrochrome prices were stable in early September, but went up gradually after mid-September as prices for chrome ore rose substantially.Asian Metal Copyright Meanwhile, steel mills raised their tender prices for ferrochrome by about RMB1,000t as they expected that prices for the material will go up further.Asian Metal Copyright Affected by continuously increased prices for chrome ore, producers for ferrochrome would like to hold stocks rather than sell the material at lower prices in late September, resulting in tight supply in the spot market.     Affected by firm import prices and the tight supply, prices for chrome ore went up continuously in ports of China in September. It is expected that prices for the material will continue to move upwards in October.
