Prices of CRC showed some signs of rebounding this month, influenced by increased prices of raw materials such as steel billet and iron ore fines, who followed the upward trend in the futures market. Prices of HGI coil failed to return to the downward trend this month influenced by the bad market performance. The demand from automobile and home appliance industries failed to show obvious signs of becoming strong in the traditional low season. Insiders predict prices for CRC and HGI coil are likely to go down in August.
