In April, prices of CRC and HGI coil went up by around 13% and 17% respectively in leading markets in China, supported by the increased production cost. Prices rebounded too sharply in the month but the demand from downstream consumers failed to show any signs of becoming strong. The price began to fall back rationally in the end of the month due to the poor market performance. Insiders predict prices for CRC and HGI coil are likely to decrease in May.
