Influenced by the price rise of steel raw materials such as billet and iron ore fines, prices of CRC and HGI coil recorded an upward trend in March. In addition, as the supply for HGI coil continued to be tight this month, prices of HGI coil went up more sharply than CRC prices did. As the output for steel raw materials decreased in the past month, prices remained at a high level. Insiders predict prices for CRC and HGI coil are likely to climb up further in April but they will not increase on a large scale.
