Ferrochrome market prices were on the decline in 2015. Though many ferrochrome producers left the market considering the dull market situation, the market was yet to rebound for the reducing supply. Meanwhile, the government strengthened the management on environmental detection, making the ferrochrome market dim indirectly.
Foreign suppliers gradually decreased the quotation for chrome ore in view of the weak demand from Chinese users in 2015, but ferrochrome prices sharply fell and the chrome ore prices were hard to hold firm. In this case, chrome ore market prices dropped this year.
